Saam Baharmand is the Associate Vice President of Product Management at FundingShield. As a Certified Scrum Product Owner Saam has worked on delivering new products for FundingShield and optimizing existing products to meet client needs per management’s strategy. Saam interfaces with software developers and business unit owners to ensure accurate product delivery for internal and external stakeholders.

Saam has been part of the product, operations, and technology teams at startups as well as large enterprise organizations. At Bazaar Ventures, LLC, a startup that focuses on business technology consulting and corporate strategy, Saam assisted in the functional design and delivery of custom software application projects.

Saam’s interest in the intersection of real estate and technology came to fruition at First American Title (NYSE:FAF) where he worked with the product management team on improvements to First American’s title/escrow production software. Prior to joining FundingShield, Saam worked at CoreVest (part of Redwood Trust Inc. NYSE:RWT) on the bridge loan underwriting, closing, and funding operations teams. At Corevest, Saam was responsible for due diligence on transactions for institutional investors and home builders.

Saam is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management Economics.
